Autonomous UHF RFID reader
UHF RFID reader - detection of UHF RFID tags
Interface
Autonomous UHF RFID reader
Autonomous long-range UHF RFID reader, designed for fast detection of a large number of UHF RFID tags.
Maximum range: 6 m (depending on the tags used UHF RFID and environmental conditions)
Maximum read rate: 50 - 100 UHF tags / s
Autonomous UHF RFID detection and control of external devices (RELAY output: barriers, locks / electric strikes)
Communication: COM (TCPIP optional)
Outputs: Wiegand, Relay
Possibility to connect the device via USB port using an RS232 -> USB adapter (not included).
The purchased set includes:
- stationary UHF RFID reader
- cabling
- power supply
- mounting brackets
- application demonstrating the key functions of the UHF reader (configuration, detection) for Windows OS
- SDK / API in the form of a DLL library
- demo source codes (C#, Delphi, JAVA, Python)
- API function documentation in English (DLL library)
- communication protocol documentation in English (for integration with operating systems other than Windows)
Autonomous UHF RFID detection
The offered UHF RFID reader can operate autonomously to open a barrier / lock upon identification of UHF RFID tags.
Key aspects of autonomous operation:
- automatic detection of UHF RFID tags
- ability to configure a mask / password for identification of selected UHF RFID tags
- ability to configure a RELAY output signal of a specified duration upon UHF RFID tag identification (sending a signal to open an electric strike / barrier)
- ability for autonomous integration with external systems via transmission of information through the WIEGAND output
- support for standard and custom communication protocols
UHF RFID identification
Thanks to fast, wireless UHF tag detection, the stationary UHF RFID reader can be used for:
- warehouse automation
- detection of goods and products
- inventory control
- supply chain optimization
- vehicle identification
UHF tags compatible with the offered UHF RFID reader are available from as low as PLN 0.19 net / piece.
Easy installation and deployment of a UHF RFID identification system
The UHF reader enters active mode after power connection. Detection of a UHF RFID tag within the detection area is indicated by a sound signal, eliminating the need to use software / a computer during range measurements of RFID identification and device installation at the target location.
The provided software, documentation, and source codes demonstrate how to communicate with the UHF RFID reader. In particular, device configuration, enabling automatic detection mode of UHF tags (retrieving a list of EPC numbers of identified RFID tags), and reading data from individual UHF labels.
UHF RFID SDK / API integration
Along with the UHF reader, we provide source codes demonstrating the use of SDK / API for Windows: C#, Delphi, JAVA, Python
