E-ID card reader

RFID reader HID OMNIKEY 5022 enabling reading data from the new e-ID card. The offered e-ID card readers are fully compliant with the guidelines of the Ministry of Interior and Administration and MC, thus guaranteeing full compatibility with electronic ID cards. The offered device is a proximity reader, which means that you only need to hold your ID card against the reader to start wireless communication.

The quality of workmanship of the e-ID reader and its compact size are noteworthy. The manufacturer of the device is HID, a company registered in the United States, a leader in RFID technology with a global reach. The housing is made of durable polycarbonate.

The offered device is the smallest e-ID reader available on the market. Its dimensions are only 5.9 x 5.9 cm.

 

E-ID

E-ID with an electronic layer based on contactless RFID technology was introduced by the ministries of the Ministry of Interior and Administration (Ministry of Interior and Administration) and MC (Ministry of Digitization). The first e-IDs have been issued to Polish citizens since March 2019. The e-ID is equipped with an electronic chip. The offered reader allows you to read information stored in the electronic system of the e-ID card.

 

The reader's cooperation with e-ID cards requires the installation of software E-ID Card manager provided by the Ministry of Interior and Administration.

Installation of HID Omniky 5022

The offered e-ID reader does not require the installation of drivers. Installation and configuration of the device is fully automatic after connecting it to a personal computer.
