HITAG RFID TAG for marking pigeons

RFID LF tags made of plastic intended for marking birds. The RFID bracelet allows multiple installation on the animal's leg thanks to a strong latch. HITAG LF RFID tags are a common standard for devices used in hostile environments, where highly efficient and reliable wireless data transmission is required.

HITAG S256

The third generation HITAG S256 RFID chip meets the ISO 11784/85 standard and is compatible with HITAG1, and after firmware update with HITAG2. Basic features of the RFID system used:

Lifespan of over 100,000 recording cycles

Data storage time up to 10 years

Operating frequency from 100 to 140 kHz 

Checksum value verification mechanism to ensure data integrity

Data transmission speed (tag to reader): 2, 4, or 8 kB/s 
