Biometric work time and access control recorder
The biometric MA500 recorder enables authorization using:
- fingerprint reading
- proximity card
- PIN code
In addition to selecting a single authorization method, the following combined modes are available:
- fingerprint or card or pin
- card and pin
- fingerprint and pin
The MA500 access control terminal is a fully autonomous device. At the same time, thanks to the use of the TCP/IP communication interface, the device can be controlled using a personal computer and the supplied software.
The biometric reader is equipped with the proprietary ZKFinger VX10.0 fingerprint recognition algorithm, thanks to which the fingerprint scan takes less than 1 second.
The access control reader has interfaces for controlling external devices such as: electric lock, alarm siren, exit button, or door opening alarm sensor. The device can be mounted outdoors thanks to its resistance to moisture and dust (IP65 standard).

Access control system
The MA500 access control terminal verifies the possibility of opening the door based on user authorization (fingerprint and/or RFID 125 kHz Unique proximity card and/or PIN code). Authorization data (3,000 fingerprints, 30,000 cards) are saved in the device's memory. Each operation performed by the reader is recorded in the device log (maximum 100,000 operations). Configuring access data and downloading the operation log is possible using a PC (TCP/IP, RS485) and the supplied software.
Access control software
Together with the MA500 terminal, we deliver fully functional ZKAccess v. 3.5 access control software with instructions in English.
Working time records
ZKAccess v. 3.5 software, which we deliver with the autonomous MA500 terminal, enables the device to be used as a complete working time recording system.
SDK
The MA500 access control and working time recording terminal is supplied with an SDK programming interface (API), which enables integration of the device with existing software or creating your own, dedicated access control and working time registration system.
Communication interfaces
The access control reader is a fully autonomous device. Access control is possible without a permanent connection to the computer. The device can be controlled using the supplied software and one of the following communication interfaces:
- TCP/IP (standard network connection)
- RS485 (serial communication port)
- USB host
The reader is compatible with the Wiegand communication standard (I/O).
