Mifare Plus S 2k NFC card
Proximity cards fully compatible with the Mifare Classic standard (S50 1k and S70 4k), additionally enriched with an advanced AES-128 security mechanism. Mifare Plus S RFID cards have 2048B of memory.
The NFC proximity card enables wireless exchange of information (writing and reading) with devices equipped with an NFC module. Just touch the Mifare card to the reader to start communication.
AES-128 and 2048B memory
The proximity cards support the advanced AES-128 data encryption standard. It is also possible to use the standard security mechanisms used in Mifare Classic. Mifare Plus S magnetic cards have 2048B of memory.
NFC Mifare - technical information
The proximity cards operate at a frequency of 13.56 MHz and are fully compatible with the ISO/IEC 14443A standard. Access to memory is the same as on Mifare 1k and Mifare 4k cards. Each memory sector can be write/read protected using a defined 48b or 128b (AES) access key. The devices do not have an internal power supply, so there is no need to replace/charge the battery.
