NFC RFID reader and programmer

The NFC reader, in addition to the standard reading/writing of proximity cards and NFC tags, enables NFC communication in Peer to Peer mode.

An additional advantage of the device is the software that allows, in addition to low-level data writing/reading, also the recording of basic types of NDEF messages (www address, SMS, email, making a call, text, VCard). The application is also delivered in the form of VC++ source codes.

The offered programmer communicates with a PC computer via a USB port. The NFC reader is equipped with a two-color LED and a speaker, which can be operated using software.

The proximity reader is supplied with an SDK / API programming interface, thanks to which the device can be used to create your own solutions using NFC technology.

Reading and writing NFC data

The proximity card and NFC tag reader is compatible with ISO 14443A standard. NFC reader works with the following NFC chips: Mifare 1k Classic S50, Mifare 4k S70, Mifare Ultralight, Mifare DESFire, NTAG 203, NTAG213, etc...

ISO 18092 - NFC Peer to Peer

The NFC reader enables P2P communication with another NFC device in accordance with the ISO standard 18092.

NFC SDK / NFC API

The programming library supplied with the programmer allows:

- detection of NFC chips

- device configuration (LED control, speaker control, determination of data transmission speed, selection of operating mode...)

- reading all data from NFC proximity cards

- writing data to the card NFC proximity card

- protection of the NFC proximity card against writing

- formatting the NFC proximity card to NDEF

- saving data in NDEF format

- cleaning the NFC proximity card (restoring factory settings)

We provide demonstration source codes in the RFID reader in VC++ technology

The API library is delivered in the form of COM components, therefore it can be used in projects created in .NET technology (C#, VB.NET, etc.).

Installation and configuration

Procedure installation is limited to installing the supplied drivers and connecting the NFC reader to a PC with the Windows operating system.
